Beth Canterbury
Beth is a Graduate-Level therapist studying at Bridgewater State University, in the process of completing her Mental Health Counseling degree. A professional singer and voice teacher, Beth has worked in arts education and performance for the past twenty-five years. Incorporating mindfulness and self-care into her work, she has coached over a thousand artists toward greater stress resilience, joy, and success in the arts.
Beth is skilled in working with people experiencing grief and loss, depression and anxiety, and adjustment challenges, and integrating creativity, mind-body connection, and metaphor into session. Beth particularly enjoys play therapy and creates a warm, affirming environment for clients of all ages. She is passionate about supporting clients in appreciating their own strengths, envisioning new behavioral pathways, and building connections with community as they grow and heal. Beth draws on Narrative, CBT, Existential, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy techniques.
In addition to her degree program, counseling, and artistic work, Beth enjoys reading, walking in the woods, and spending time with her family playing games and going on bike rides.
