Caroline Gordon

Caroline is a graduate level therapist studying at Bridgewater State University in the Mental Health Dual Licensure program. She attended Fairfield University for her undergraduate degree, where she studied psychology. Her career goals include working as a school adjustment counselor, as well as practicing privately as an LMHC.

Caroline has experience working in therapeutic special education settings, providing support to K-12 students facing significant emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges. She has primarily worked with individuals diagnosed with conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, ODD, and autism spectrum disorder. Caroline is skilled at implementing individualized supports and facilitating the use of coping strategies. She draws on cognitive behavioral, person-centered, and strengths-based principles in her therapeutic work, while maintaining a trauma-informed lens. 

Fostering a welcoming, judgement-free setting where clients can feel truly comfortable being their authentic selves is of the utmost importance to Caroline. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, and families to address their unique needs and help navigate through life's adversity. By prioritizing empathy and compassion, Caroline ensures that each client feels valued and supported on their personal journey toward meaningful growth.

A former Division I athlete, Caroline is passionate about the mind-body connection and encourages the use of physical movement and mindfulness techniques to support emotional regulation. In her personal time, Caroline enjoys reading, exercising, cooking, and spending time with her family.
