Michael Hendricks
Michael is a graduate-level therapist studying at Curry College, in the process of completing his Marriage and Family Counseling degree. With a compassionate heart and a passion for advocacy, Michael brings over a decade of professional experience in clinical, educational, and nonprofit settings—empowering individuals with disabilities, mental health challenges, and diverse needs.
A seasoned Job Development Specialist, Michael has spent more than 13 years guiding special education and transition students. His work focuses on vocational training, therapeutic support, and helping young people find purpose through career development.
Michael’s creative side shines through his extensive background in media. In 2013, he launched Public Praise TV, an award-winning faith-based lifestyle show dedicated to celebrating spirituality and storytelling. Today, he continues to lead as the owner of Public Praise Media LLC, as a content producer, accomplished video editor, and graphic designer.
Michael currently serves as the Media Director and an ordained minister at Motivation Church in Randolph, MA, where he uses his gifts in technology and communication to enhance worship experiences and spread the Gospel through modern media platforms.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Michael is a devoted husband and father. Alongside his wife Dima, he is a tireless advocate for the Sickle Cell community. The couple co-founded #ThroughThePain, a nonprofit that became a 501(c)(3) in 2022. The organization provides support services and raises awareness for Sickle Cell Warriors and their families. Michael has spoken at national conferences, workshops, and podcast events—sharing their caregiving journey and offering inspiration and support to families across the country.
Michael’s mission is grounded in faith, family, and service. Whether he’s in the therapy room, behind the camera, on the pulpit, or at the front lines of advocacy, his life’s work is rooted in helping others rise and thrive—through creativity, compassion, and connection.
